​These take around an hour and are designed to deal directly with improving socialising skills whether with people or other dogs and also confidence building in general. This includes helping dogs who find it hard to concentrate with other dogs as a distraction. It may be that they are overexcited, nervous or anything else that affects their behaviour in the presence of other dogs and/or people. We would use stooge dogs and people to interact with them at a suitable level for their comfort, on and off lead where appropriate and you would be given some advice on how to handle and deal with these interactions in your daily life, as well as information on reading your dog's body language to better understand their actions. The initial session will be £65.00 including VAT and are on a 121 basis, giving a good introduction to training steps you'll need to take for maximum benefit and are aimed at socialisation on all levels. Follow up sessions are £50.00 including VAT.

These sessions are held at our main training ground at Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds where we have fully secure outdoor paddocks so there is plenty of space and barriers that we can use where required, this is beneficial as we are in a safe environment where the dogs don't feel closed in, and it is also a more realistic daily walk replica than being indoors. We also have access to stooge dogs for the best training experience. Wherever possible we do the sessions during the day on week days as we then have a greater variety of other dogs available to help with the session. If you would like to book a session on a Saturday, this is possible, but please be aware that we will use the group class, which are running, as a distraction instead.
