Group Training Classes

An English Bulldog is being fed a treat by his owner.
A yello labrador stands between his owners legs in a paddock.
A small puppy sleeps on the grass with a red lead attached to him.

Positive training methods, backed by science.

We run group training classes for all ages of dogs, covering all the basics such as lead walking, recall, sit, stay, etc, before moving onto more advanced training exercises. So whether you're looking for basic puppy training or more advanced exercises for your older dog, we can cover it all. Classes can be bought in a block of 4 for £75, or a block of 10 for £170 including VAT. If you would like to try a class before purchasing a block, we offer trial sessions for £20.

At East Anglian Dog Training and Grooming, we only use kind, fair and effective training methods. Our dog training sessions are held outside, surrounded by the smells of rabbits, horses and other dogs! Perfect for training your dog to focus on you with real life distractions and therefore improving your dog’s outdoor control!

We offer group dog training classes in Bury St Edmunds, for all ages of dogs, with a view to getting the most out of your family pet. We limit the number of dogs per class to ensure you and your dog get the attention you deserve.

All of our classes are based on the principle of the 3 Ds:

  1. Distraction

  2. Distance

  3. Duration

Using the 3 Ds we can train you to improve your dog’s abilities in the following life skills:

  1. Sit

  2. Down

  3. Stay

  4. Come when called – Recall

  5. Loose lead walking

  6. Leave

  7. Emergency Stop!/Down

Plus we offer advice on handling, mental stimulation and socialisation.

Classes can be bought in blocks of 4 for £75, or blocks of 10 sessions for £170, or if you would like to try a class first, we offer trial sessions for £20.

You do not have to attend the classes consecutively. We ask everyone at the end of each class if you are able to make the following week, we then make a note of this on our register.

All classes roll on allowing you to attend as many classes as you like. As the place is reserved for you every week you must let us know if you are unable to attend for any reason - this way you are not charged for non attendance if giving us at least 24 hours notice.

Book via the button below for your start date, this will reserve your space in that class going forward, future class dates will be booked manually with your trainer.
